COCA-COLA TBILISI JAZZ FESTIVAL
POSTER DESIGN CONTEST

Eligibility
The contest is open for all citizens of Georgia, who are professional or non professional artists or graphic designers above age 15.  Foreigners who currently reside in Georgia are also eligible to apply. 

Winners are chosen from amongst all the artwork that meets the poster requirements for first, second, and third places.

The Eastern Promotions may reproduce and distribute the winning poster as part of the Festival campaign. 

The best 30 posters will be displayed at the TMS Gallery, the Tbilisi State Concert Hall lobby and will be posted on the Eastern Promotions web-site.  

Contest Theme
Posters must include the theme, “Coca-Cola Tbilisi Jazz Festival. “  No wording should be changed.

Prizes
I Prize: GEL500
II prize: GEL 200
III prize: GEL100
Each winner will be offered two free tickets to the Festival closing concert on June 29th, 2006.

 Contest Requirements
(Posters not meeting the following requirements will be disqualified.)

Poster dimensions are to be A2 format.
The artwork must be original, done in marker, crayon, watercolor, ink, acrylic, tempera paint or other media.
The theme must be spelled correctly and should be easy to read.
Poster should be graphically attractive and/or use a dynamic message on jazz theme. 
Poster may not incorporate any copyrighted characters (i.e., comic and/or television characters, popular jazz artists), photographs, and magazine or newspaper illustrations.
Poster should not have a signature on the front
An application form must be neatly completed and attached to the back of each poster, including an artist's name, address, phone number and valid e-mail address.
Individual artist or a group of artists can submit only one poster.
The submitted artwork will not be returned.

Judging
The U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi and Eastern Promotions together will assign competent juries for this contest. Winners will be announced and awarded on June 25th, 2006.

Each poster will be judged on originality, artistic merit and expression of the Coca-Cola Tbilisi Jazz Festival theme.

Deadline for poster submissions
June 1, 2006

All poster submissions must be delivered to
TMS Gallery
